Why it matters
Polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) have been the industry stalwart in Durable Water Rellant (DWR) finishes for years. PFAS chemicals are often referred to as “forever chemicals” because they do not break down naturally. Governmental agencies and consumers worldwide are demanding an end to the use of PFAS.
